"Doing what is right"

"Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing."
                                              - Chick Moorman

This quote means that doing something good is better than both, either winning or losing. That when you do something good, you'll feel better than if you would've won. Having honor is also more important than winning or losing. And playing fair is more glorious than winning or losing. Chick Morrman believes that doing what is right, fair, and honorable is better than winning or losing. For example it is better if no one wins a boxing fight and up with a tie, as long as both fighters fought fairly and with honor. It makes the match better to watch because both fighters are throwing punches and no one is just standing around or hugging to much, because that wouldn't be fair, it would be a drag to watch such a boring and horrid fight. That is why overall doing what is fair and honorable is better than winning or losing. This is also seen in multiple other areas in life. Another good example would be in a race. Better there be a tie than someones car is sabotaged and then no one wins due to horrible sportsmen ship. But if everything is fair there might even end up being a tie or who knows, maybe someone will one but skin on their teeth.
